4th of July Weekend

For the 4th of July weekend, our neighbors invited us up to McCall. We had a very relaxing time and watched fireworks over the lake. Cole really liked them. That little boy is just full of surprises. He had a great time playing with the kids and even fell in love for the first time with a pretty girl (Mommy is so jealous!) The day after, Willy rode his bike downhill at Brundage.

Mom's Visit

Mom's visit could not have been any nicer. We all had so much fun. It was nice to see Cole get to know his Grammy.

We also went to the Boise Zoo, Julia Davis Park and the rose garden.

Kayaking down the Boise River was so awesome. Mom watched CM while Willy and I floated down river. There were some rapids and mini dams that where enough "whitewater" to give you a thrill, and we are now addicted and scheming a way to bring Cole along next time.

Willy took us on a long drive up to McCall. We passed Banks and Idaho City and returned home on the Lowman's Loop. That day was particularly fun because we swam in the Payette River. I fished a little and then pushed Willy in. The water was clear and cool. We then put C in his new swim trunks and dipped him in too. He cried because it was chilly but it cooled him off and he was happy later. While I was swimming in the current, I was doggy paddling as fast as I could to stay in one place.
