Bike Ride
Yesterday was so beautiful out, sunny and windy, that when Willy suggested that I go for a bike ride, I jumped at the opportunity. At the time, I was holding a cranky baby, so my decision was easy even though I haven't been on my bike in a year, I was sleep deprived and with a cold. Was it fun? Yes and no. I took a nice loop in the foothills and the way up was difficult, even with my awesome tires. I rode up what I could and walked the rest. My lung capacity, muscles and endurance dwindled over the course of my pregnancy; it was very challenging going upwards. I refused to quit because I left a husband and a baby at home to accomplish this and I was going to have fun, darn it! It was exhilarating going downhill. I still have a lot of my hard earned skill left from last year and I went as fast as I could with my breaks on.

Saturday at Lucky Peak
This weekend, I have come to learn just how savvy Bill is. After we were finished eating dinner and I was admiring the roses that Willy gave me, the phone rings. It is Bill inviting Willy to go wake boarding with him at Lucky Peak on Saturday morning. Willy looks up inquiringly at me and I tell to him go ahead, and that I will meet him there later for a picnic. When Willy hangs up the phone, he laughs and admits that Bill suggested the flowers. I realized then that Bill was able to strategically put Willy in my good graces so he would be able to have some fun on the boat. Nice one, Bill! I will have to watch out for you! :)

Here is Willy ripping it up. I think that Boise is so pretty!

Out of the House!
Willy and I have been practicing leaving the house when we can with the Clyde baby. The other night we took a family drive up to Bogus Basin to watch the sun set. We even changed him on the tail gate! That is what the tail gates are for, right? I even fed him a bottle in the car while Willy and Ally went hunting for squirrels. The night sky was beautiful up there. The moon was illuminated by the ruddy purple sun behind the mountains and surrounding foothills. Sorry, had to be there because we forgot the camera!
Another evening we four took a stroll on the Greenbelt. We walked all the way to the end where there is a horse race track. We were just in time for a race. Here they are warming up.
