Wakeboarding

Bill was nice enough to let Cole and I tag along on one of their wake boarding adventures. I had a really nice day and it was cool to bring Cole on a boat that didn't need constant bailing (see future post on how Willy almost capsized us on Boise River). It was a beautiful day and here is a link to some pictures.

My first 5K

I have my friend Jentry to thank for encouraging me to try the 5K Logan's Race ahead of my fall schedule. I had so much fun. I did better than I expected and feel really good about doing it. I can't wait to see where I placed. I think that my time turned out to be a good place to start off from. Here are some pictures of me bookin' it.

Boise River Rafting

We just returned from the Boise River. It was a very nice day and Cole was awesome the entire time that we were rafting. He had a good time going over the little rapids. I relaxed while Willy paddled and steered us to all of the fun spots. It was a good time.

Cole is learning how to ride his bike. We took him to the park on it and had a really nice evening. The last picture is of Willy and Cole staring pensively into the river at McCall during our latest camping trip. The best thing about that camping, besides Cole getting 4 new teeth, was hanging out with our old neighbor friends and taking this awesome hike in the woods to see some waterfalls. The trail led to the top of them and we all scaled down the rocks to get to the river and the base of the falls. I stuck my feet in the chilly water and Willy went swimming in it. Brrr. Climbing the rocks back up leads me to my new sport next year: rock climbing! I plan to stick to the running and become strong enough to rock climb. Wish me luck! Sorry: forgot the camera...
