We had a nice Father's Day weekend camping near McCall. It was very pretty and is something we hope to do more of. Sorry to be brief, I hope the pictures say more than I have the time to write!

Thanks Kitty!
Cole really likes his tractor, it was my fault for not thanking you for your present when I thanked Dad. To make it up to you, Cole thought we should send you a thank you card. He also says for me to write, "thanks Grammy." Also, Dad did not make me write this. I just feel bad.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Cole!
The little monkey had a pretty good birthday. When we brought him into the kitchen, he was awed by the streamers and balloons that Willy and I decorated the kitchen and dining room the night before. He enjoyed his homemade chocolate chip buttermilk waffles and then uncovered his new tricycle. He had fun on that and then the guys went outside to play for a bit. After that we ate dinner at Donnie Macs. They specialize in trailer park food. Cole ate mac and cheese and was a good boy. We then had a nice time playing at the park. Afterwards, we sang him happy birthday and ate the carrot cake (purchased at Pastry perfections; not my sugarless creation from last year). He really enjoyed getting presents from his Grandma's. I will try to get him to write thank you cards this week.
I cannot believe that he is 2. On one hand I want to cry and the other hand he is growing up so wonderfully! Hope you enjoy the pictures and videos that I posted.

Owyhee Mountains
Last weekend we drove to the Owyhee Mountains. They are across the valley and we have been looking at them and wanting to explore them since we moved here. We drove to a really rustic and old mining town called Silver City. A lot of the roads were washed out one lane dirt roads hugging the sides of mountains (Mom will know those well!). Willy had a blast 4 wheelin' it.
