Yellowstone and Craters of the Moon

We had a great weekend at Yellowstone and Craters of the Moon over Willy's birthday weekend. I uploaded our pictures and will do a better blog entry when I can... It is time for cocoa and relaxing!

Japan Continued

Sendai

We arrived in Sendai where we spent an awesome weekend. It is a beautiful city that is very good for walking in. Our hotel was nice. We were on the 18th floor. In the afternoons, there were black vans with Japanese flags on them that went up and down the streets campaigning with megaphones that where so loud, we heard them all the way up in our room as they were coming and going. It was an excellent example of noise pollution and we didn't even now what they where saying!



The view was cool, especially at night. We watched fireworks in the distance.

We ended up taking the Loople which was a tour bus that went in a circle around the city. We didn't realize that we had to press a button to get off of where we wanted to go so we did the next best thing and got off when everyone else did. That led us to the bottom of a huge hill where everyone in there platform high heels where hiking up to go visit the Date Mausoleums and Temples.
