Time for Fall

Cole and I were enjoying the leaves at the park.  It was so windy that day, a leaf busted my face up!

Willy and Nash played at Cole's Pumpkin Party at preschool.  Cole is singing Yellow Submarine; a song that he practiced for weeks.

Cole finally settled on being a King Cobra for Halloween.  Mom sewed and I stuffed and glued.  Willy did the teeth.  Next year, Cole should make it.  :)

Cole wore his snake costume and got to look and touch a lot of reptiles.  His favorite was the tortoise.

Bruneau Sand Dunes and Observatory

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I love this place.  Cole got to look at the sun in the first telescope.  The big binoculars let him spy on people hiking up the dunes.  We saw star clusters, nebulas, Saturn, etc. through the big scopes.  We also saw a solar flare.  The sky was so beautiful, you could see the milky way and more.  We went on a scorpian hunt (they turn florescent when viewed with a black light).  Cole wants to be a scorpion for Halloween.  At our campsite the moon looked like an orange slice.  Amazing.  I wont go into the misadventure parts...
