Tamarack Camping

Willy finally got around to making our videos work so that I can upload them. Don't worry, he is going to teach me how to do it so we will have them up a lot faster. These are from our last camping trip (see "Weekend Camping," September 30th). We would like to do more camping but it is too cold!

Willy is the grill master while I was sleeping.

A sweet trick!

Willy, the mountain man! One thing you might want to remember Willy, is that rocks can explore with they get heated up - no kidding...I've seen it happen.

Yeah, that's part of the danger of being a survivor man. One did a little. But I managed to go find it. It went 'exploring'. Good thing they didn't EXPLODE....he he.

When you think you have enough wood to make it through the night... Make the wood pile five times larger if you want to make it through the night. Also if you are ever dehydrated in the African Desert you can squeeze the remaining moisture from a recent pile of elephant dung...this may not be the most appealing drink .... but it just may save your life!
