I had such a wonderful time with my mom this week. She flew all the way from Tampa to hang out with us for four days. We went hiking in the foothills with Ally (who just adored her) and some shopping at the mall and the Hyde Park area. One of mom's favorite adventures was snowshoeing at Bogus Basin. It was beautiful up there and we witnessed an inversion effect, which is a layer of thick clouds that are low and cover Boise. We thought that it would be a dreary day until we started to make our way up the mountain. But when we got past the clouds, the big blue sky opened right up for us! From above, the clouds appear as a sea and the mountain tops look like rocky islands. I just pulled this picture off of the internet, so keep an eye out on Mom's blog. If we are lucky and nice to her, maybe she will post some of the beautiful pictures that she captured on the digital camera that I did not break.
As almost everyone knows, Willy and I are going to have a baby. I am very sorry if I failed to tell everyone who may read this in person. I thought I would post this for a little while for Willy's grandparents. It is just an audio of the heartbeat that I recorded while in the doctors office. It is very exciting for me to be reassured that everything is progressing as it should. When mom heard this she teared up a bit... more grand babies!

If you can get past the *&^(*^*= cold, visiting Marisa and Willy is definitely a great time! I loved snowshoeing and checking out the view from the top of the mountain. But the best part of the visit was hearing my new grandchild's heartbeat!
I played the video of your baby's heart beat, and Keithie started giggling!! :-) I think he is excited for you guys too :-) p.s. Keithie was messing with my mouse and he deleted my first comment...sorry :-)
