Cole's 1st Plane Ride

The three of us had such a great time visiting Willy's grandparents in Vermont. Cole did awesome on the plane and in the airports. He was smiling at everyone! On the way there, he didn't cry and on the second plane, he slept in my arms. I was very proud and surprised that I enjoyed being on a plane so much. On the way back home, he was a little sensitive but did well overall.

Being in Vermont was also very nice. When Great Grandpa got his hands on Cole, he just hugged him for a long time and took every chance he had to hold him. He read him Fox and Socks, too. It was funny, because when he was holding Cole I think we could have all gotten away with murder!
We visited a sugar shack about a mile from their house. They were boiling the sap and it smelled great. We tasted all kinds of maple syrup goodies like cotton candy, sugar cubes, bread and snow on ice (which Willy and Geese hogged). Cole even had a little taste.

Visiting Grandma in the nursing home was very enjoyable. She had fun showing off her great grandson to her buddies and making Willy give her spins circling the entire 3rd floor. Everyone enjoyed watching Cole do his baby thing. He got so much attention! He left Vermont with invitations to play in sandboxes at peoples camp next year. His cheeks were pinched, poor thing!
