Mom and Bud sent me an awesome new Anne Rice book, a running skirt and a really nice card. Thank you Leigh for our amazing dinner last night. It involved steak, sturgeon and bourbon.

Yeah! 30 Years
I turned 30 years old yesterday. Yippie. I could not have had a nicer weekend. Sunday was great because we had great warm weather. Cole and I gardened while the band played outside. Our neighbor boy came over to play trucks with Cole. On my birthday, we went out to brunch, took Cole fishing, and pruned lavender. They gave me a big knife and an ice cream machine. How cool is that!? I also got a bags of bone and blood meal for my plants. Everyone was really nice to me all day, too!
